InFlightAI Computer Vision Model
Fuse Status Inspection
AI Model Overview
InFlightAI’s Fuse Status Inspection model uses computer vision AI to determine fuse state, including open and closed positions. It enables automated inspection of protective devices to ensure proper operation and reduce the risk of electrical faults.
The fuse is located in the frame, then classified from its visible position. Configuration during onboarding covers the fuse and cutout types in use on your network.
Fuse state is confirmed without an outage or a bucket truck. Open condition are reported, so crews arrive with the right part rather than diagnosing on site.
How It Works
Fuse Condition Inspection returns bounding box output. It identifies fuse open and closed state.
Fuse Condition Inspection is an asset maintenance model, currently deployed across industries like Electric Utilities and Power Generation. Detections are returned after the flight has landed, once imagery and waypoint data have been synced to the platform. The model is configured to the assets and environments at your site during onboarding, and is ready for use within thirty days.
