AI Model Overview

InFlightAI’s Gate Open/Close model uses real-time computer vision AI to detect gate position and state changes. It enables automated tracking of access points and improves perimeter security and compliance.

The gate is detected first, then its position classified from the live feed. State changes are timestamped as they happen.

A gate left open is caught at the moment it happens rather than at the next patrol. The resulting access-point timeline supports compliance review without anyone pulling footage.

How It Works

Gate Open/Close returns bounding box output. It identifies gate open and closed state, and records state changes at monitored access points.

Gate Open/Close is a physical security patrol model, currently deployed across industries like Electric Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Logistics, Power Generation, Nuclear and Mining. Detections are returned in real time while the flight is still in the air, so alerts reach the team before the aircraft lands. The model is ready from day one, with no site-specific configuration required.
