InFlightAI Computer Vision Model
Encampment Detection
AI Model Overview
InFlightAI’s Encampment Detection model uses computer vision AI to identify unauthorized encampments on or near monitored properties, including tents, makeshift shelters, and clusters of personal belongings. It supports proactive site management and helps security and facilities teams respond consistently and appropriately.
Shelter structures and clustered belongings are recognized against varied outdoor backdrops. Detection runs on the live feed, so results reach the team during the patrol rather than after it.
Encampments are flagged as they establish, when relocation support is still straightforward. Security and facilities work from the same evidence, so response stays consistent rather than ad hoc.
How It Works
Encampment Detection returns bounding box output. It identifies tents and makeshift shelters, clusters of personal belongings, and encampments established on or adjacent to monitored property.
Encampment Detection is a physical security patrol model, currently deployed across industries like Electric Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Logistics, Power Generation, Nuclear and Mining. Detections are returned after the flight has landed, once imagery and waypoint data have been synced to the platform. The model is ready from day one, with no site-specific configuration required.
