InFlightAI Computer Vision Model
Wildlife Detection
AI Model Overview
InFlightAI’s Wildlife Detection model uses computer vision AI to identify the presence of animals in monitored environments, including birds, mammals, and other wildlife near critical infrastructure. It supports safety, operational continuity, and risk mitigation by flagging incursions that may impact equipment, perimeters, or personnel.
Animal forms and movement are recognized against both natural and built backdrops. Detection runs on the live feed during the patrol.
Animal presence near equipment is flagged where it causes faults, damage and outages. Deterrence and exclusion work can then target where incursions actually happen.
How It Works
Wildlife Detection returns bounding box output. It identifies birds, mammals and other animal presence near critical infrastructure and perimeters.
Wildlife Detection is a physical security patrol model, currently deployed across industries like Electric Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Logistics, Power Generation, Nuclear and Mining. Detections are returned in real time while the flight is still in the air, so alerts reach the team before the aircraft lands. The model is ready from day one, with no site-specific configuration required.
