AI Model Overview
InFlightAI’s PPE Detection model uses computer vision AI to automatically verify the presence of required personal protective equipment, including safety vests, hard hats, and gloves. It supports safety compliance monitoring across industrial environments and flags violations to reduce risk and improve adherence to safety protocols.
A person is detected first, then each required item is checked against that individual. The model reports which item is missing rather than only that someone is non-compliant.
Missing PPE is flagged at the moment and place it happened, not in a monthly summary. Compliance becomes visible in low-traffic areas where supervision is thin, and safety leads get trend data by zone and shift instead of incident-only reporting.
How It Works
PPE Detection: Vest, Hat & Gloves returns bounding box output. It identifies safety vests, hard hats and gloves, and flags personnel missing required PPE in monitored areas.
PPE Detection: Vest, Hat & Gloves is a physical security patrol model, currently deployed across industries like Electric Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Logistics, Power Generation, Nuclear and Mining. Detections are returned after the flight has landed, once imagery and waypoint data have been synced to the platform. The model is ready from day one, with no site-specific configuration required.
