InFlightAI Computer Vision Model
Liquid Spill Detection
AI Model Overview
InFlightAI’s Liquid Spill Detection model uses computer vision AI to identify equipment leaks, spilled liquids, and chemical releases on surfaces and floors. It focuses on operational hazards from equipment failure or handling errors, supporting rapid containment response and safety compliance.
Liquid is identified by color and brightness variation, by shape and volume, and by transparency against the surface beneath. Boundary detection separates a spill’s irregular edge from a surface that is merely wet.
Standing product is distinguished from a wet floor, which cuts false calls on routine washdown.
How It Works
Liquid Spill Detection returns segmentation mask output. It identifies equipment leaks, spilled liquids on floors and surfaces, and chemical releases.
Liquid Spill Detection is a physical security patrol model, currently deployed across industries like Electric Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Logistics, Power Generation, Nuclear and Mining. Detections are returned after the flight has landed, once imagery and waypoint data have been synced to the platform. The model is ready from day one, with no site-specific configuration required.
